As the day to make this video got closer and closer, I kept asking myself, how do I talk about loving yourself without making it sound like it’s selfish? I know that loving yourself is not selfish. In fact, I always tell those around me this:

You are one of your loved ones.
You are worthy of the love that you have to give just as much as any of your loved ones are.
If you don’t fill yourself with self-love, you will not be able to give love out into the world.

I decided to freestyle it. Loving yourself is not a step-by-step thing. It’s a process of constantly reflecting; authentically reflecting. So that is what I did.
